Ghost in the Shell is one of the better cyberpunk animes produced by the Japanese. Chock full of angst, anger, mystery and government shenagins, GitS is one of my favorite animes. (Besides, the Major is one major hottie.)

A lame blog about Mihoshi!
Mihoshi, what can I say about my favorite airhead? She's cute, clueless, and probably a virgin. (And will stay one until she gets married.)
She can be devastating in her own inept way, and in another, somewhat competent. (Just not with cooking, housekeeping, or being a Galaxy Police officer.)
